Roy's Record Room Live



As part of the Winter Roots & Blues Roundup III, CKUA presents Roy's Record Room Live from the Stanley Milner Library Theatre in Edmonton.

Join Roy and special guests Holger Petersen and John Einarson as they share "tales of searching for that elusive piece of vinyl and shellac" - Sunday, February 26, at 3:30pm. They will be playing sound bites of great Canadian classics, country, rock and roll, blues and rockabilly, and John will talk specifically about the early recording scene in Winnipeg.

Host Tom Coxworth will be joined by a man of the sea this week on Folk Routes. Tom Lewis has been singing songs of the sea as well songs of tradition, new and old. He'll guide the program of influences, featuring artists like The Silly Sisters, Cyril Tawney, and Johnny Collins.

It's another adventure of tradition on Folk Routes - Sunday, February 19th from 10am-12 noon, the fastest two hours in routes music.
